
Ingredients
- 1 Egg yolk (for brushing)
- 2 Whole Eggs
- 50 g Sugar
- 320 g Flour
- 200 g Milram Cottage Cheese
- 1 teaspoon of vinegar
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla flavoring
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
Preparation Method
- Preheat the oven to 180º.
- In a bowl, add the cheese, eggs, sugar and vanilla essence and mix everything very well.
- In a separate bowl, add the baking soda and vinegar. Stir. Then add to the previous mixture.
- Add the flour and yeast to the mixture until a sticky dough forms.
- Sprinkle an area with flour and divide the dough into similar portions.
- Form balls with the pieces of dough and place them on a tray.
- Brush the scones with the egg yolk.
- Bake for 20 minutes at 180º.
Enjoy with a red fruit tea.
Suggestion: Spread the scones with butter, cheese and/or jam.
